Hardoi Livestock & Meat has strong, long term relationship with farmers and work intensively especially with the nomadic shepherds of Baluchistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhua provinces of Pakistan who ensure us year-long supply of grass fed livestock. This collaboration has allowed us to develop animal friendly and sustainable programs for meat.
Ethical treatment of animals and their health are closely linked, and we strive to contribute to the development humane concepts for our livestock.
More than 75% of Buffaloes/Cattle and above 60% of goats/sheep/camels are transported from the point of origin to the slaughterhouse in less than 3 hours, reducing stress and fatigue. We have active sources that enable us to receive the animals within 100km radius of the abattoir.
At Hardoi Livestock & Meat, we consider everybody deserves safe food every single time they sit down to eat, whether with their family for a home cooked meal or in a restaurant. We describe food safety as protecting people and animals at every step of the supply chain from infection or injury due to handling or consuming our products.
For this very same reason, we conduct laboratory tests to acquire Microbiological profiles for the meat for selected microorganisms such as E. Coli, Salmonella , Staphylococcus, Aureus, PH, Pathogenic E. Coli etc.

Our cattle will eat all sorts of wildflowers and undergrowth, in fact they will “self – medicate” with the suitable herbage, given the space and liberty to do so, meaning they will graze out plants which comprises of the proper vitamins and mineral deposits they require.
We are not 100% certified organic, for a diversity of good explanations, including that our cattle are grazed on natural reserves that are organically grown but not certified, but our cattle rearing criteria are as high in all respects as any method we know of. We use the best obtainable cattle from humanely raised and managed farmers who are only inclined towards rearing cattle on grasses.
